most of Niki Taylor's modeling career in
the 90s, she had long blonde hair in
traditional American style. 
But she finally had
a big makeover and then sported this cute
chin-length bob. The slightly messy look
makes it cool, too.
The problem with
many if not most very straight bob
hairstyles is they look exactly like wigs!
So if you don't want to look as if you're
wearing a wig, you may need to mess up
your hair a bit and/or add waves/curls.
These two ads show
you two ways to style a bob. The top
photo (1999) shows the cute summer beach
style and the bottom one is a little
edgier.
Niki no longer has
short hair; in January 2008 she was
spotted in New York wearing a natural-looking
very long pretty hairstyle.
You can see bob haircuts for 2010 online if you're interested in the most up-to-date looks. (Niki is out of spotlight now while she raises her new baby.) In 2010 bobs may be on their way out for a year or two. (They don't stay out of fashion for very long, it seems.)
