Hair was never so big as it was in the 1980s. (Unless you count the afros of the 1970s.) "Big 80s hair" was fun and crazy. The hairstyles trend was probably a scheme started by hair spray companies. How were so many girls convinced to go along with this wild style? Many of us still cringe when we think back to the hair styles of the 80s.

We may never fully return to the big hair again--at least not to the same extremes. For one thing, it does not always look professional in the workplace. It can still look glamorous, but many women could easily find it difficult to be taken seriously today if they always have huge hair. For guys, it would be even worse.

Morgan Fairchild once performed in a play called "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes." If blondes look like her, can you blame them? Many modern bob hair styles have layers and are cut with a razor. The difference between them and this is here the layering starts much higher. It's basically layered from her bangs right the way down to her chin.
